Let’s look at an example: You've completed a novel of 48,000 words, with no photos. You need 100 (5.5x8.5) printed books for autographing, sending to reviewers, for speaking engagements, some for family and friends, and maybe sell them directly from your website. You might also want ebook versions that will work on the Kindle or Nook. Level 1 Text Design and Level 1 Cover Design will work well for this type of book. Based on your wordcount of 48,000 words at 300 words per page (for 5.5x8.5) your page count would be 160 pages. Here is how you would save money using the Page&Screen Package:

Obviously there are many other options and factors that may affect cost as well. These may include: Photos and charts, more complex page layout or cover requirements, different trim sizes or quantities, books with color pages, or different binding requirements. You can request a Special Quote based on your specifications or call us to discuss your specific requirements.

When printing, overruns may result, which means that the final quantity of books could be higher than ordered, a maximum of 10% higher. Overruns are priced at cost, design costs are excluded. Shipping costs are not included and are calculated once the final count and weight are determined. Color printing on interior pages and matte lamination on the cover are available at extra cost.
