We are a small, family-owned company. Although we are proud of the books we print, we also have great confidence in our book printing and book design staff. For that reason, we put a premium on having only the most qualified individuals to serve on our team. Every person on our staff is committed to making your book the best it can be, throughout the whole production process.

Kurt Gorham

Owner, started 1976

Kurt's interest in printing began in high school when he published a newspaper in his garage. He later expanded to commercial printing and then book printing. In his spare time he plays the drums and rides his motorcycle.

Norma Gorham

Co-owner, started 1976

After working with Kurt in his printing business for many years, and successfully raising a family, Norma earned her Master's in Education Degree. She has taught English as a Second Language in Alaska, Washington, Taiwan and Turkey.

Kari Bryant

Accounting, started 2006

Married to Josh in February 2006, Kari lives in a yellow house with hungry pond fish in the yard. She has a blind, black-and-white dog named Lola. Her interests include painting, Sudoku and racing Mustangs.

Del Burd

Press Operator, started 1997

Del Burd began his printing career printing bank checks. He capably handles a large sheetfed press with ease and enjoys book printing. He spends his weekends enjoying the outdoors.

Kathy Campbell

Art Director, started 1993

Kathy enjoys the collaborative process of cover design and the endless variety of subject matter of the books she designs. She has three fantastic teenagers, and with her husband Kevin, they enjoy camping and kayaking.

Tricia Coppedge

Graphic Designer, started 2008

Tricia Coppedge attended St. Martin's for two years before leaving to pursue her interest in graphic design. She attends school online in pursuit of her Bachelor's degree and has a passion for books and typography. She currently lives in Olympia

Kate Fahie

Bindery and Production, started 2008

Originally from Maine, Kate now lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her fiancee, two cats, one dog, two ferrets, one fish and one snake. She loves halloween, The Nightmare Before Christmas and playing video games and Sudoku.

Dan Koivula

Production Manager, started 1997

Dan spent his early years in box printing. After owning his own commercial print shop for 6 years, Dan came to work for Gorham Printing. His expertise in all aspects of printing shows in his careful attention to detail. A Vietnam Veteran, Dan spends his weekend as a "Weekend Warrior", with many home improvement projects.

Liina Koivula

Prepress, started 2005 and 2010

Liina reviews ready-to-print PDFs with attention to detail, and prepares books for printing. Born and raised in Olympia, Washington, she graduated from The Evergreen State College with a BA focused in Women's Studies in 2005. She practices yoga, cooks with whole foods, collects records and cultivates relationships with her surroundings.

Kaden Jelsing

Digital Printing, started 2007 and 2010

Kaden's focus on color and quality guides his work running digital printing machines. A 2006 graduate from The Evergreen State College, he is currently working on his MA thesis in History through Western Washington University. He is a marathon runner, bakes bread and collects records, and spends weekends hiking in wilderness areas.

Customer Service, started 2002

A published author, both traditionally and self-published, Kathleen brings another level of experience and understanding to customers. A professional speaker of writing and book printing, Kathleen has taught at various writers conferences and seminars along the west coast. As a full-time grandmother her spare time is busy with Little League and noise.
