Distiller Joboptions

If you are using InDesign, Quark or PageMaker: (and you own the full version of Acrobat, including Acrobat Distiller), we suggest you first make a postscript file and then distill the postscript file using our customized joboptions file. This method will make a more accurate PDF than using the "Export to PDF" feature available on many programs. For detailed instructions on how to make a trouble-free PDF, go to How to Make a PDF.

How to Get Our Joboptions file: RIght-click this link and click "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" to download our joboptions file: gorhamprinting.joboptions. (Be sure to save file with the exact name "gorhamprinting.joboptions", rather than let your browser rename it with a .htm or .txt extension.) Save it on your hard drive in a location that you can remember and easily find. Start Acrobat Distiller. Go to Settings>Add Adobe PDF Settings. Browse for the gorhamprinting.joboptions file and click Open. This will add our joboptions file to your Distiller.
